The Bluefield High School Concert Band will be hosting a two-hour-long “ WINTER CABARET ” at Bluefield High School (http://www.edu.pe.ca/bluefield/) beginning at 7:30 pm on the evening of February 6, 2010. The Cabaret is a major fund raising event for the Band, which will be participating in a Canada-Cuba cultural exchange during April 2011 (http://www.canadacuba.com/index.html). The Cabaret will include performance by the Blue Field High School Jazz Band, legendary local comedian Patrick Ledwell (http://www.patrickledwell.net/) and the always entertaining group “Soul Food Trio” (Reggie Ballagh, Jon Rehder, Chastity Haselsteiner)! The $ 10 ticket price will include your choice of coffee/tea and sweets with access to a benefit silent auction (preview to begin at 6:30 pm for auction). Tickets can be purchased at the door (limited numbers), through any Bluefield High School Band Student and by contacting the main office at Bluefield High School (902)-675-7480.
